Job Title: Registered Nurse III - Clinical Wellness Nurse

Location: Ottawa, Kansas

Employment Type: Full-time (40 hours per week)

Work Schedule

• Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Tuesday: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• Friday: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM
  
  

Summary: The Clinical Wellness Nurse focuses on site health promotion and clinic functions. In collaboration with benefits and account teams, this nurse balances the delivery and coordination of wellness programs, including event scheduling and appointment coordination, and monitors the effectiveness of these programs. A core objective is to facilitate wellness programs that educate and influence employees at the worksite to lead healthy lifestyles, improve health status, reduce health risks, and improve quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Health Promotion: Educate about wellness programs, tools, and services; raise awareness and create visibility for wellness.
• Wellness Events and Campaigns: Coordinate and manage wellness events and campaigns.
  
  

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted RN license in the respective state, with the ability to maintain active licensure.
• Minimum of 3 or more years of clinical experience as an RN or LPN in a physician’s office or hospital setting.
• Demonstrated experience and ability in providing superior client service to organizations and individuals.
• Proven administrative abilities with strong computer and software application skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
• High energy level and excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Self-directness and the ability to succeed in an independent role.
• Virtual/telemedicine experience.
• Positive role model in demonstrating healthy behaviors.
• Passion for health improvement and patient education.
• Strong computer/technical skills.
